Listify IDX can show MLSListings listings on your website with a map, filters, and a page for every listing. MLSListings delivers its feeds directly, and offers a standard IDX feed and an IDX+ feed that can add listings from partner MLSs after a vetting step. Your broker gives written permission, and we handle the vendor application with MLSListings. Once you sign up, we set up the connection with you.

How the MLSListings connection works
MLSListings Inc. serves Santa Clara, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito counties, from Silicon Valley and the Peninsula to the Monterey Bay.
Unlike many MLSs, MLSListings delivers its data feeds itself, through its own API, rather than through a platform such as MLS Grid or Bridge. It offers two IDX feeds:
- IDX carries MLSListings’ own active, contingent, pending, and sold listings, with sold listings going back up to three years.
- IDX+ can also include listings from partner MLSs in its data share, including MetroList, CRMLS, Bay East, SFAR, BAREIS, Contra Costa, bridgeMLS, and TheMLS. MLSListings runs a vetting process before it turns IDX+ on.
How to get connected
- Your broker gives written permission. An agent’s IDX website needs the broker’s written authorization. MLSListings uses a participant broker agreement and a broker authorization form, described in its IDX guidelines.
- We handle the vendor side. MLSListings sends IDX feeds to the vendors it approves rather than to agents, so we apply to MLSListings for your feed and take care of that paperwork for you.
- Choose IDX or IDX+. If you want partner MLS listings too, MLSListings vets the IDX+ request. Its IDX data feeds page compares the two.
Once you sign up, we set up the MLSListings connection with you. MLSListings handles its data access approval, and we handle the rest.
MLSListings may charge its own MLS data fees for access to your listing data. It says approved IDX vendors pay a quarterly fee, and broker participants pay nothing for a raw data feed. Those fees are set by MLSListings, are separate from your Listify IDX subscription, and are paid by you. We never mark them up. See our Terms of Use.
What visitors see on your website
MLSListings’ rules (Section 12.16) shape each listing on your site:
- The listing firm and the listing agent are named on every listing.
- Active, contingent, pending, and sold listings may appear. Restricted sale prices are never shown.
- A source notice such as “Based on information from the MLSListings MLS as of” the date, and the required MLSListings IDX logo.
- Partner listings name their source. On an IDX+ feed, each listing from another MLS shows which MLS it came from.
- Withheld details stay off. Sellers can keep a listing or its address off the internet, and confidential fields never appear.
We set up your search to meet these rules when we connect your feed.
What you need
- An MLSListings subscription, and your broker’s written authorization for IDX.
- A website where you can add your own code. Any website builder with a code embed or custom HTML block works.
- A Listify IDX account on the Plus plan or higher, which includes MLS feeds.
Works on the website you already have
Listify IDX adds property search to the website you have now. You or your web team copy and paste a single piece of code, called an embed code, into the page, and the search appears there. See the steps for Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Showit, or any other website.
