Keep the Webflow site you built
Your website already shows who you are. What buyers still need is a way to search for homes on it. Moving to an IDX company's website would mean starting over. And many IDX tools show the search inside a frame on your page, which often has its own scroll bar and rarely looks right.
Listify IDX adds MLS property search to your Webflow site, instantly. It's made for agents and real estate offices who run their own site, or have someone in the office or a web designer who runs it for them. Either way, it takes one embed code pasted into the page, and the search shows up.
Plan space for the search interface
Pick the page where buyers will search, and give the search plenty of width for the map and the list of homes. Once it's installed, the search loads with the page, and buyers can open any listing to see photos and details.
Every listing gets its own page on your website, with a link buyers can share and Google can find. Read more about how this works without frames.
If you move to a different website builder later, Listify IDX also works on Squarespace, Wix, WordPress and custom-built sites.
How to add Listify IDX to your Webflow site
- Once your account is approved, copy your embed code from your Listify dashboard.
- In Webflow, open the page where you want the property search.
- Open the Add panel and drag a code embed element onto the page. This is a box that holds code you paste in. Make the section around it full width so the search has room.
- Paste your whole embed code into the box and save.
- Publish the site, or open Preview with Enable custom code turned on. Webflow doesn't run pasted code while you're editing, so you won't see the search until you do this.
Your embed code looks like this, with your own ID in it:
<script
src="https://embed.listify.dev"
type="module"
data-embed-id="your-embed-id"
></script>
<listify-search></listify-search>Running lots of add-ons? If your Webflow site also uses tools like chat, analytics, or forms, Listify IDX supports an advanced loading setup that changes how parts of the embed code are added to your site, so each page's own content appears first and the search fills in right after. It's a standard way to keep feature-rich sites fast, unlike the single script many IDX providers use, which often makes the page wait until it finishes loading. Contact support for more info or help setting it up.
What you need
- A Webflow plan that lets you add your own code. That's any paid Workspace plan (Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer) or a site with an active Site plan. The free Starter plan doesn't.
- A listing data source. Listings come from the data sources you connect: listing platforms we already integrate with, MLS feeds (including standard RESO Web API feeds), or your own custom API. Contact support with specific questions about data sources and integration.
- A Listify IDX account, which gives you your embed code.
Check it before you go live
Try a search on your phone as well as a computer. Buyers can switch between a map and a list, then use filters to narrow the results. Homes in the same building are grouped on the map, which helps if you work in a condo or apartment market.
Open a listing and look through the photos and any virtual tour. Check how the search sits on your page, too. Listify IDX Plus and higher plans add your own branding and a map-first layout, if you want the search to carry your brand.
Working with a web designer?
If someone else looks after your Webflow site, they can follow the same steps with your embed code. After that, your listings update on their own, so you won't need to book design time when properties change.
Your website host and CRM stay the same
Listify IDX doesn't host websites or include a CRM (contact management) tool. Webflow keeps hosting your site. When visitors send an inquiry, it comes to you, so plan how you'll answer and where you'll keep your contacts.
Try it on your own site
You can try Listify IDX free on your Webflow site before choosing a monthly plan. Compare plans and pricing to see what each plan includes.
