Listify IDX can show BAREIS listings on your website with a map, filters, and a page for every listing. BAREIS offers a Standard IDX feed and an Enhanced feed with pending and recently closed sales, and only brokers who opt in appear on IDX. You ask BAREIS in writing to accept Listify IDX as your vendor, and once you sign up, we set up the connection with you.

How the BAREIS connection works
BAREIS (Bay Area Real Estate Information Services, Inc.) has been a broker-owned MLS since 1997. Its own service area is five North Bay counties: Marin, Sonoma, Napa, Solano, and Mendocino.
BAREIS is also part of the NorCal MLS Alliance, which gives its members access to data from other Northern California MLSs across many more counties. That access is for members working in the MLS system. BAREIS doesn’t say those listings come with its own IDX feed, so we’ll confirm what your feed covers when we set it up.
BAREIS offers two IDX feeds. Standard IDX carries active and contingent listings. Enhanced IDX adds pending listings, certain other approved off-market data, and about six months of closed sales, for an additional fee. Feeds come from BAREIS’s Rapattoni MLS system by API.
How to get connected
- Ask BAREIS in writing. BAREIS accepts a vendor’s application only after a member asks for that vendor in writing. Its vendor application FAQ explains the steps.
- We apply as your vendor. Listify IDX completes BAREIS’s vendor application, and BAREIS reviews it.
- Your broker signs the BAREIS IDX license. An agent’s IDX site needs the broker’s consent, and the broker signs a BAREIS IDX license agreement. BAREIS then issues the feed credentials.
Once you sign up, we set up the BAREIS connection with you. BAREIS handles its data access approval, and we handle the rest.
BAREIS may charge its own MLS data fees for access to your listing data. It lists a vendor application fee and separate data license fees, and Enhanced IDX carries additional fees. Those fees are set by BAREIS, are separate from your Listify IDX subscription, and are paid by you. We never mark them up. See our Terms of Use.
What visitors see on your website
BAREIS’s IDX rules (Rule 14.4) shape what your search shows:
- Only opted-in brokers’ listings. BAREIS has no “presumed consent”: a broker who hasn’t opted in isn’t on IDX.
- The listing brokerage and listing agent are named on each listing, along with the source of the data and when it was updated.
- A personal-use notice saying the information is for consumers’ personal, non-commercial use.
- Withheld details stay off. Listings flagged to stay off the internet, hidden addresses, and confidential information never appear.
We set up your search to meet these rules when we connect your feed.
What you need
- A BAREIS subscription, your written request naming Listify IDX as your vendor, and your broker’s signed IDX license.
- A website where you can add your own code. Any website builder with a code embed or custom HTML block works.
- A Listify IDX account on the Plus plan or higher, which includes MLS feeds.
Works on the website you already have
Listify IDX adds property search to the website you have now. You or your web team copy and paste a single piece of code, called an embed code, into the page, and the search appears there. See the steps for Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Showit, or any other website.
